When Emily Adams Bode founded her eponymous label, Bode (pronounced Boh-dee), she did so with the intention of expressing a sentimentality for the past through her creations. The Himalayan Poppy Short-Sleeve Shirt pays homage to an embroidered tablecloth from the 1930s-1950s, replicating the original design featuring a beaded poppy motif climbing an arbor.
